What We Do
Non-Medical Caregiver Duties
Caregivers employed by DUNN SISTA'S HOME CARE LLC provide non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance to elderly, disabled, and vulnerable clients in their homes.
Responsibilities Include:
Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene
Providing companionship, emotional support, and social interaction
Assisting with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and fall prevention
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
Performing light housekeeping duties, including laundry, dishes, organizing, and maintaining a safe environment
Providing medication reminders only (no medication administration)
Assisting with shopping, errands, and grocery pickup
Transporting clients to appointments or community activities when authorized
Observing and reporting changes in client condition, behavior, or home safety concerns to supervisors
Maintaining accurate daily care notes and documentation
Respecting client confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries
Following individualized care plans and company policies
Using proper body mechanics and safe caregiving techniques
Maintaining reliable attendance and punctuality
